The Shop
A father-and-son woodshop in Jenks, Oklahoma. We opened the doors in 2022 with serious equipment and one goal that hasn't changed: build things our customers will want to keep.
Murray Industries makes custom inlay game boards and commissioned woodwork. Every piece leaves the shop signed and dated. Sometimes by one of us. Sometimes by both.
The shop
We work out of a commercial unit at 8720 S Elwood Ave, Unit E-15, in Jenks — the south Tulsa suburb. Real machines, real dust collection, real lead times. No garage hobby setup.
What's in it
- SawStop PCS 3HP table saw
- Laguna 18|BX bandsaw, JX|8 ShearTech 8" jointer, SuperMax 37x2 drum sander
- Carbide 3D Shapeoko 5 Pro CNC for the inset hex work
- Maksiwa pocket-hole machine, Bosch GCM12SD miter saw, DeWalt DW735 planer
- Oneida Gorilla 5HP dust collector with full ducting
- Spinrite 3.25HP variable-speed router on a precision table
The kit matters because precision matters. Our patent-pending inset board only works because the hex tolerances are tight. Loose tolerances, loose tiles. We're not interested in either.
The work
Custom Inlay Game Boards. Walnut and HDPE. Patent-pending inset hexes that lock every Catan tile and port in place. Built to be played, kept, and handed down.
Custom Commissions. Furniture, built-ins, and one-room one-family pieces. Most projects start with a sketch and a phone call. Lead times run 6–10 weeks; rush is sometimes possible.
